Mini-Branding Session: Mr. West

Branding photography and videos are powerful tools that can help businesses differentiate themselves from their competitors, communicate their brand message, and build a strong connection with their target audience. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with a local food-lovers hot spot called Mr. West in Seattle who was in need of a mini-branding session of photos for their 2 branches in downtown and the U-district. We wanted to share the story of this project and explore how we were able to help solve their brand’s issues through high-level branding photography and video production.

Problem:

The Client Needed Fresh Visuals for Their Brand

Mr. West is local business here in Seattle who really cherishes the value of their visual brand and the way they share their brand visually. No surprise as the owners are also the owner of RCL Design in Seattle, and as graphic designers they know the value of solid branding. The owners came to us because they were in need of some fresh, new visuals that would better represent their brand and help them stand out in the highly diluted, crowded marketplace of the food & bev industry.

 

The client came to CoCreate Studios looking for a solution to their problem. They had heard about our expertise in video production and branding photography and felt that we were the right team to help them achieve their goals. We started by conducting a discovery session consultation with the client to understand their brand identity, target audience, and the message they wanted to convey through their visuals.

Solution:

A Mini-Branding Session of Photos

To help solve the client’s problem, we recommended a mini-branding session of photos to give them a simple sample of what we could do for their brand. This would involve creating custom visual content that aligned with the client’s brand values and messaging while at the same time showcasing their products and services in action. We worked closely with the client to understand their brand identity, target audience, and the message they wanted to convey.

 

We decided to focus on capturing images that showed the client’s team in action, interacting with customers, and showcasing their products/services in use. We wanted to create a sense of authenticity and personality that would resonate with their audience and differentiate them from competitors.

 

 

We also decided to incorporate the Mr. West physical spaces into the visuals to create a sense of place and location. This would help the client establish a strong local presence and connect with their audience on a more personal level.

In order to ensure the highest quality visuals, we sent our team of in-house and highly experienced photographers who specialize in branding photography. They were equipped with the latest equipment and techniques to capture the images and some video footage, ensuring that every detail was perfect.

 

 

The mini-branding session of photos took place over the course of a day, during which we captured a wide range of images and video footage that showcased the client’s brand and products. We made sure to stay in constant communication in the relationship through with our Client Success Manager and Creative Director throughout the process to ensure that their needs and vision were being met.

The mini-branding session of photos was a success. We were able to capture a wide range of images that showcased the client’s brand personality, products, and services. The visuals aligned perfectly with the client’s clean, professional, and modern brand that focused on their messaging and values while creating an emotional connection with their audience.


The client was thrilled with the results and was excited to incorporate the new visuals into their branding strategy. They felt that the visuals better represented their brand and would help them stand out in a crowded marketplace. The incorporation of Mr. West physical space helped the client establish a strong local presence and connect with their audience on a more personal level. These photos were an essential part of the client’s branding strategy and helped them stand out in a crowded marketplace.
